Reflections of Internship Program 

The choice of the Hoshino Resort was so good to me since I am interested in working in the hotel industry in the future.

Nowadays, the Hoshino Resort is well-known as a famous hotel company which operates high quality hotels and Japanese inns in Japan. The hotels receive high evaluation from many people since this company gives all guests services such as surprise services, great view, branding services. Hence I decided to go to a hotel belonging to Hoshino Resort Group as an internship. Furthermore I applied some hotels that I was interested in. I always make mistakes when I do something. Hence I could not think this company gives me an acceptance letter. However, I had gotten it from the company. I was sincerely proud of myself when I thought that I could actually take part in the work with real workers in real places.

Reflection of Internship Program

I would love to say that I am so delighted to have this great experience of internship. At first all things that I had experienced through this internship was very hard for me when my internship started. So I could not imagine that I would come to like there that much and people at Hoshino Resort working together. Further we are also working and making effort into our job every single day. And I was pleasant and proud of the workers around me. They treated me like one of them and told me how to do everything gently. I have taken in hospitality from them and had a wonderful time at works with visitors each and every day.I understood that I really prefer to talk with the visitors through the working in the hotel. Hence I could have a fun at the hotel works which helps visitor demand with casual discussion. I was so delighted when the visitor try remembering my name. So I made effort to recall their name as much as I could. What is more, other thing that I felt glad is that I got great remark about me. I regularly help visitors who speaks English when I was a waiter since I can communicate in English. When I took care of something for visitor, some of the times I enjoyed in conversing with them.

Through this internship, I learned a lot of things which will be useful in the future. I have made many mistakes in this internship. I made effort to finish my job on time. I have tried to move quickly, work effectively in my way, work looking at a watch, bring many plates as much as I can, clean the used plates on time. I am afraid of getting everyone angry because I always have mistakes when I do everything. I sincerely work faithfully every single day. However, I always make my managers and co-workers get upset because of it. Nevertheless I learned how quick time pasts, how important use of time, what to think in the situation, the importance of thinking what guests will want next. This internship is very meaningful for me. When I work somewhere, I would love to use this experience efficiently.
